VPASS IS NO LONGER BEING USED TO SCHEDULE VISITS

Check this page regularly for updates on the status of visiting at each state institution. Every prison has visiting on Saturdays, Sundays, and four holidays during each calendar year (New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day). Events that may impact visiting include medical quarantines and modified programs.

Visits vary by institution but usually begin between 7:30 a.m. and end between 2 and 3 p.m. To find out the days and visiting hours for the prison you are going to visit, call 1-800-374-8474.

ASP Visiting Status - HYBRID VISITING

Avenal State Prison (ASP) in now conducting Hybrid Visiting. This model will allow ASP to continue video visitation on SATURDAYS and in-person visitation on SUNDAYS. Visitation will be by appointment only. In Person visiting sessions will be two-hour (2) sessions with thirty (30) minutes in between sessions to disinfect visiting areas. There will be three (3) visitors allowed per visits, two (2) of those could be children over the age of two (2). Effective immediately, visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide routine COVID testing. For visitors providing questionable vaccination cards as proof of being vaccinated may be referred to the Employee Health and Wellness team to conduct a POC test. Visitors who are not vaccinated are required to either provide a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test, Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test result from a test taken no longer than 72 hours prior to visit, or undergo Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test. A negative result will be required for the visit to go forward. Visitors are required to arrive at least on hour prior to their scheduled time. It is important to take into account that testing onsite may affect your scheduled visit. ASP has now implemented the Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA) system https://cdcr.gtlvisitme.com/app. Visitors will now have the ability to schedule their own video visits. California City Correctional Facility
CAC Visiting Status - Hybrid Visiting

VPASS is no longer being used to schedule contact visits.Email process for in-person visits.CACVideoVisiting@cdcr.ca.gov In-person visitation on SATURDAYS.Visitors are to be scheduled in the order their emails were received.Visitors will not have the option on picking their appointment time. Visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide routine COVID testing. California Correctional Center
CCC Visiting Status - Hybrid Visiting

Beginning the week of 6/7/21 family visits are being scheduled at CCC (does NOT include camps). CCC’s Hybrid Visiting Model will allow 2 hour in-person visits on SATURDAYS and 1 hour video visits on SUNDAYS. The Institution is now in Phase 3, the new normal. Inmates on quarantine/Isolation will not be eligible for visitation. In-Person visits will be by appointment only and available for up to 3 approved visitor(s) per inmate over the age of two years. Visitors are required to either provide a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test result from a test taken no longer than 72 hours prior to the visit, provide proof of being fully vaccinated, or undergo a Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test available at the institution. The POC test will be conducted by healthcare staff and a negative result will be required; testing onsite may affect your visit. Visitors are required to arrive at least 1 hour prior to their scheduled visit time. Currently vending machines will not be available during the visit. California Correctional Institution
CCI Visiting Status - Family Visiting

California Correctional Institution (CCI) is currently in Phase 3 of the roadmap to reopening plan. CCI will begin Family Visiting on June 7, 2021. Family Visitors over age 2 MUST show proof of a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test or a rapid Point-of-Care COVID-19 test obtained within 72 hours prior to the visit or present a valid vaccination card noting they are at least two weeks past their final injection. Rapid Testing will not be available to family visitors at CCI for Family Visits. Currently CCI is NOT accepting e-mails to schedule Family Visits. The inmate must request the family visit with a CDC 1046 form as outlined in Title 15 section 54020.33.3. CCI offers video visitation on SATURDAYS and in-person visitation on SUNDAYS. In-Person visitation will be by appointment only. CCI will require visitors to schedule in-person visits through email. Visiting sessions will be two hours with up to three approved visitors over the age of 2 per inmate. All Visitors including minors are required to provide either a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test result from a test taken within 72 hours prior to the visit or undergo Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test prior to admission into the institution. The POC test will be conducted by healthcare staff. Vaccinated visitors must present a valid vaccination card noting they are at least two weeks past their final injection. California Health Care Facility
CHCF Visiting Status - Hybrid Visiting Model

CHCF has a Hybrid Visiting Model CHCF is currently in Phase 3. As of 6/7/21 - Bldg's A1A, B7B, D2A, D2B, D5A, D5B, E1A, E5A, E5B are currently unavailable for visiting for this weekend. CHCF will continue video visitation on SUNDAYS and in-person visitation on SATURDAYS. In-Person visitation will be by email request from 8am Saturday to 8am Monday for the following weekend only. Visiting sessions will be two (2) hour sessions with thirty (30) minutes in between sessions to disinfect visiting areas. Three (3)approved visitors, including minors over the age of 2 will be scheduled per inmate. Visits will be limited to maintain social distancing requirements. All visitors are required to either provide proof of current covid vaccination completed at least 2 weeks prior or provide a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test result from a test taken no longer than 72 hours prior to visit https://covid19.ca.gov/get-tested/ or undergo(POC)rapid COVID-19 test prior to admission into the institution. A negative result will be required to visit if visitor is not vaccinated. Visitors are required to arrive one hour prior to their scheduled time. Testing onsite may affect your scheduled visit. California Institution for Men
CIM Visiting Status - Hybrid Visiting

The California Institution for Men (CIM) will continue In-Person Visitation on SATURDAYS and Video Visitation on SUNDAYS. In-Person visitation will be by appointment only. Effective May 15, 2021, to schedule an in-person visit for Saturdays email your request to CIMVideoVisiting@cdcr.ca.gov. You can continue to use the Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA) systemhttps://cdcr.gtlvisitme.com/app to schedule Video Visits on Sundays. Email requests will be reviewed for acceptance a week prior to the visiting date from Saturday 8am to Monday 8am. Please include the inmate’s full name and CDCR number, your full name and ID/DL# as documented on your identification card. In person visiting sessions will be in 2-hour increments with 30 minutes in between sessions to disinfect visiting areas. 3 approved visitors will be allowed per inmate, no minors under 2 years of age will be allowed at this time. Face masks are required. Visits will be limited capacity to maintain social distancing requirements. Vending machine food will be available, water will be available when vending services are not available. Arrive to CIM’s Main Visiting Processing Center at least one hour prior to the scheduled appointment. Visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide proof of COVID testing. Visitors providing questionable vaccination cards as proof of being vaccinated will be referred to on site point of care screening. All visitors who are not fully vaccinated are required to either provide a negative PCR or POC test result from a test administered 72 hours prior to the visit. California Institution for Women
CIW Visiting Status - HYBRID VISITING

Video Visits are held on Saturday, 8:30 a.m-2:30 p.m. In-person visits are held on Sundays, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Video Visits will be scheduled in 1 hour increments. Video visits shall be scheduled by visitors using https://www.cdcr.gtlvisitme.com/app. Effective May 15th In-Person visits will be scheduled by visitors using ciwvideovisiting@cdcr.ca.gov .The scheduling window will open for in-person visits Saturday 8am and close on Monday 8am for the following weekend. Starting June 1st In-Person visits will be 2 hours with 3 approved visitors. Minors 2 years and older may visit however they will follow COVID testing protocols. All visitors shall wear a mask, unless outside maintaining 6 feet. Visitors who are fully vaccinated (those who received their last dose two or more weeks ago) and can provide a COVID 19 vaccination card will not be required to provide a negative COVID test. Visitors who are NOT fully vaccinated are required to either provide a negative polymerase chain reaction(PCR) COVID-19 test result from a test taken 72 hours prior to visit, or undergo Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test prior to admission into the institution. California Medical Facility
CMF Visiting Status - Hybrid Visiting

California Medical Facility (CMF) is currently operating in Phase 3. CMF will continue video visitation on SATURDAYS and in-person on SUNDAYS. Both Video and In-Person visitation will be by appointment only. Only three approved visitors may be scheduled per inmate (minors must be at least 2 years old) for in person visiting. Visitors have the ability to schedule their own video visit by claiming an account at cdcr.gtlvisitme.com. For an in-person visit, visitors must email CMFVideoVisiting@cdcr.ca.gov between 8:00AM Saturday and 8:00AM Monday for the following weekend. Visitors shall wear a mask, which shall be worn at all times during visiting. Visitors who are not fully vaccinated are required to either provide a negative (PCR) COVID-19 test result test taken no longer than 72 hours prior to visit, or undergo (POC) rapid test prior to admission into the institution. Visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide a COVID test. Visitors providing questionable vaccination cards as proof of being vaccinated may be referred to the Employee Health and Wellness team to conduct a POC test. Visitors are required to arrive at least on hour prior to their scheduled time. IT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED THAT VISITORS TEST PRIOR TO THEIR ARRIVAL. This will alleviate the risk of missing your scheduled visit. There will be no extended time allowed should this occur. The visit will be rescheduled. If your loved one is housed in a quarantine/isolation unit, they will not be able to receive either video or in-person visits. Vending machines are now available. The photo ducat program is not available.

California Mens Colony
CMC Visiting Status - HYBRID Visitation

The California Men's Colony is under Phase 2 and currently conducting a hybrid model for visitation. CMC is hoping to begin Phase 3 the weekend of May 24th. Approved Visitors shall utilize the Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA)to schedule video visits. For Saturday video visitations, the sessions are 1 hour each with start times of 8:30, 10:00, 11:30, 1:00, and 2:30. The VSA will be available from Friday at 6am through 11:59pm on Tuesday for the following weekend. For Sunday in-person visitations, CMCVideoVisiting@cdcr.ca.gov is the email that is utilized to request an in-person visit between Saturday 8am-Monday 8am for the following weekend. Currently, only one visitor is allowed per 2-hour in-person visiting session. Visitation appointments are scheduled on a first come basis. Therefore, a visitation request submitted may not be successfully scheduled. Housing Units designated quarantine or isolation will not be available for visitations. A Visitor scheduled for an in-person visit should arrive at the CMC at least one-hour prior to their scheduled appointment. The Visitor is to present a negative PCR/POC test result taken within 72 hours if the scheduled visit. Any proof of vaccination must be two weeks post last shot. CRC Visiting Status - Hybrid Visiting

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, Scheduling in-person visits is changing. Prospective visitors for weekend of May 22-23 MUST schedule in-person visits by emailing the institution directly. Requests can be sent starting May 15 at 8 a.m. (See the scheduling section of cdcr.ca.gov for more details). Scheduling for in-person visitation begin one week before the intended visit starting Saturday 8am and closing Monday 8am. Video visits will continue to be scheduled through the Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA). Video visiting sessions will be one-hour sessions, in-person visiting sessions will be two-hour sessions with thirty (30) minutes in between sessions to disinfect visiting areas. Up to three (3) approved visitor will be scheduled per inmate ages two and above. Visits will be limited capacity to maintain social distancing requirements. Visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide routine COVID testing. For visitors providing questionable vaccination cards as proof of being vaccinated may be referred to the Employee Health and Wellness team to conduct a POC test. Visitors that are not fully vaccinated are still required to either provide a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken no longer than 72 hours prior to visit, or undergo Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test prior to admission into the institution. California State Prison Corcoran
COR Visiting Status - In-Person Visiting

CSP-Corcoran is utilizing email request. Appointment requests may be submitted to CORvideovisiting@cdcr.ca.gov. For any future visits you may schedule your visits one week prior beginning Saturday 8:00 am through Monday 8:00 am. Fully vaccinated visitors will NOT require testing prior to in-person visiting. Fully vaccinated is defined as at least two weeks past the final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine series. Please provide a copy of your Vaccination card prior to the visit. In accordance with PSR-COR-03C-18-006, STG-II Bulldogs will be allowed visits on Saturdays only, and STG-II Surenos, EME, and Paisa will be allowed visits on Sundays only. Beginning June 5, 2021, in person visiting will consist of a two hour visit for two additional adult or minor visitors (age 2 and above), for a total of three approved visitors, per inmate for contact and non-contact visiting appointments. Vending machines will be available. Non-contact appointments for inmates housed on facility 3A, 3B, and 3C will have 2 hour sessions. For inmates housed in Administrative Segregation and LTRH visiting sessions will remain 1 hour sessions. ALL visitors NOT fully Vaccinated MUST provide a negative (PCR) COVID-19 test result taken no longer than 72 hours prior to the visit or undergo a Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test. Visitors will be required to arrive at least one hour prior to their scheduled visit time. Family visits will begin Wednesday, June 9, 2021. We will schedule family visits every Wednesday and Saturday. Six feet physical distancing shall be maintained between visitors and inmate, and six feet of physical distancing between one group of visitors and another.

California State Prison Los Angeles
LAC Visiting Status - Video Visiting/ In-Person Visiting

As of the week of May 22-23 Phase 3 visiting will begin. CSP-LAC will be having hybrid visiting. Video Visiting shall be scheduled on the VSA system https://cdcr.gtlvisitme.com/app In-Person Visiting shall be scheduled through the CSP-LAC email at LACVideoVisiting@cdcr.ca.gov Video Visiting will take place only on Saturday’s of each month. VPASS will no longer be used. In-Person Visiting will take place only on Sunday’s of each month. Three Visitor's shall be allowed per inmate for a two-hour In-Person visit (Minors over the age of 2 years old are allowed per Phase 3) Must arrive one hour prior to In-Person Visit. Effective immediately, visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide routine COVID testing. Visitors are required to either provide a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test result from a test taken no longer than 72 hours prior to the visit, or undergo Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test prior to admission into the institution. The POC test will be conducted by healthcare staff. A negative result will be required for the visit to go forward. Visitors will be spaced apart from the inmate by a minimum of six feet. Visitors shall be wearing a mask which shall be worn at all times during visiting. Masks must cover the nose and mouth. Vending machines are allowed during Phase 3 visiting. Photo ducat program will not be available.

California State Prison Sacramento
SAC Visiting Status - In-Person Visiting

CSP Sacramento is currently in Phase 3 institution wide and effective immediately fully vaccinated visitors may present their valid vaccination card indicating they are at least two weeks past the last injection. Visitors who are NOT fully vaccinated MUST provide a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test result taken no later than 72 hours prior to the visit or undergo a Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test prior to admission. For more information regarding testing sites for COVID-19 visit https://covid19.ca.gov/get-tested/. In Person Visits will expand to two hours starting May 22nd and 23rd and MUST be scheduled by emailing the institution directly at SACVideoVisiting@cdcr.ca.gov. Please ensure the following is in the email: Inmates full name and CDCR number, your name, DL/ID number, Date of birth, Relationship to the inmate, email address and a contact number. Effective May 29th and 30th up to three approved visitors allowed for each incarcerated person two may be children age 2 or older. Vending machines will not be available. A bottle of water will be provided to each visitor and inmate. Inmates that are on quarantine or isolation status will NOT be allowed to participate in visiting. Social Distancing will be implemented and masks will be provided to all visitors and inmates. Mask requirements will be enforced.

SOL Visiting Status - UPDATE 6/10/2021

UPDATE*** 6/10/2021***Level 2 will be returning to PHASE 2 in person visiting on June 20. 2 hour visits with only 1 visitor. Calipatria State Prison
CAL Visiting Status - hybrid visiting

UPDATE!!! CAL will continue with a Hybrid Visiting Program. However, Effective the weekend of May 22, 2021 we will transition from Phase II, to a Phase III visiting program. In-Person visits shall continue to be on Saturdays and will expand to two hour visiting session. Additionally, the number of visitors per incarcerated person will go from one to three visitors above the age of two. Vending will be made available in all visiting rooms. Video visits will remain on Sundays with the existing time slots/sessions. Video Visiting will continue to be scheduled via VSA. Effective Friday May 21, the reservation timeframe for requesting a video visit using the Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA) will be changing. CCWF Visiting Status - Hybrid Model

Central California Women’s Facility (CCWF) is currently operating in Phase III and has transitioned to a Hybrid Visiting Model. This model allows CCWF to continue video visitation on SATURDAYS and in-person on SUNDAYS. Both Video and In-Person visitation are by appointment only. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, fully vaccinated visitors may present their valid vaccination card indicating they are at least two weeks past the last injection in their vaccination series in lieu of a negative COVID test result. (See cdcr.ca.gov/visitors/ for more details). One-hour video visits will continue however, beginning May 23, In-person visits are expanding to two hours. Also, two additional adult or minor visitors (age two and above) for a total of three visitors are authorized per incarcerated person. SVSP's Hybrid Visiting will now allow two (2) hour In- Person visits on SATURDAYS and one (1) hours Video Visits on SUNDAYS. The institution is now in Phase 3, the new normal. Inmate on quarantine/ isolation will not be eligible for visitation. In- Person visits will be by appointment only and available for up to three (3) approved Visitor(s) per inmate over the age of two (2) years. Visits will be limited capacity to maintain social distancing requirements. Visitors are required to either provide a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test result from a test taken no longer than 72 hours prior to the visit, provide proof of being fully vaccinated, or undergo a Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test will be available at the institution prior to the admission into the institution. SQ Visiting Status - In-Person and Video Visiting

San Quentin Visiting is operating phase 3 now. Visitors at San Quentin State Prison will have the ability to schedule their own video through http://cdcr.gtlvisitme.com/app). Appointments for in-person visits can be made by sending an email to sqvideovisiting@cdcr.ca.gov from 8:00 AM on Saturday through 8:00 AM Monday for visits the following weekend. Requests made outside this window will not be reviewed. ****Vending machines are available. Each adult visitor is permitted to bring $70 and each minor visitor is permitted to bring $40. ******The number of visitors for the general population will increase from one visitor to two additional adults or minor visitor (age 2 and above), for a total of three approved visitors, per incarcerated person. To allow for social distancing in the condemned visiting modules, the number of visitors for the condemned population will be two visitor per incarcerated inmate. ******Effective immediately, visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide routine COVID testing. SCC Visiting Status - VISITING 05/21/21

Sierra Conservation Center (SCC) Video visitation will be on SATURDAYS and in-person visitation on SUNDAYS. In-Person visitation will be scheduled by email (SCCVideoVisiting@cdcr.ca.gov). In-Person Visiting sessions will be two-hour sessions with 30 minutes in between sessions to disinfect visiting areas. Up to three approved visitor can be scheduled per inmate. Please provide the following information with your email (Inmate CDCR Number, Approved Visitor full name, Date Of Birth, Valid identification type and number, Relationship to inmate, Email Address and phone number). Please be advised we cannot accommodate a preferred time for visit at this time. Effective immediately, visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide routine COVID testing. If you do not have the vaccination, visitors are required to either provide a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test result from a test taken no longer than 72 hours prior to visit, or undergo a Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test prior to admission into the institution. Healthcare staff will conduct the POC test. A negative result will be required for the visit to go forward. Visitors are required to arrive at least 60 minutes prior to their scheduled time. Friends Outside trailer will be closed June 13, 2021. Valley State Prison(VSP) offers video visitation on SATURDAYS and in-person visitation on SUNDAYS. Visitors will have the ability to schedule their own (1) hour video visit through VSA at http://cdcr.gtlvisitme.com/app. Effective Friday May 21, the reservation timeframe/window for requesting a video visit using VSA will now begin at 6 a.m. and close at 11:59 p.m. each day that reservations are open. Appointments for in-person visits can be made by sending an email listing all approved visitor(s) full name(s) to vspvideovisiting@cdcr.ca.gov from 8:00 AM on Saturday through 8:00 AM Monday for visits the following weekend. Requests made outside this window will not be reviewed. Visitors will be scheduled in the order their emails were received. Visitors will not have the option on picking their appointment time. In-Person visiting sessions will be (2) hours. Up to (3) approved visitor will be scheduled per inmate ages (2) and above. Visits will be limited capacity to maintain social distancing requirements. All Visitors including minors are required to provide either a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) COVID-19 test result from a test taken no longer than (72) hours prior to visit or undergo Point of Care (POC) rapid COVID-19 test prior to admission into the institution. The POC test will be conducted by healthcare staff. Visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide routine COVID testing. Fully vaccinated is defined as at least two weeks past the final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine series. Visitors are required to arrive at least one hour prior to their scheduled time. WSP Visiting Status - Hybrid Visiting

Wasco State Prison-Reception Center(WSP-RC) is offering a Hybrid Visiting Model. Facility A & M will have In-Person Visits on Saturdays and Video Visits on Sundays. Beginning May 15, 2021, In-Person visits for Saturday, May 22, 2021 must be scheduled by emailing WSPVideoVisiting@CDCR.CA.GOV . The scheduling window is from Saturday at 8 AM through Monday at 8 AM. Video visits will continue to be scheduled using Visitation Scheduling Application (VSA). VISITORS MUST ARRIVE AT LEAST AN HOUR PRIOR TO THEIR SCHEDULED VISIT. Only ONE approved visitor will be allowed. Effective immediately, visitors providing proof of being fully vaccinated will not be required to provide routine COVID testing. For visitors providing questionable vaccination cards as proof of being vaccinated may be referred to healthcare staff to conduct a Point of Care (POC) COVID-19 test. Visitors who have not provided proof of vaccination are required to either provide documentation of a negative COVID-19 test result from a test taken no more than 72 hours prior to the visit, or undergo Point of Care(POC) rapid COVID-19 test prior to admission into the institution by WSP-RC healthcare staff.
